Civica named a Glassdoor top 25 Best Place to Work 2019
Civica investment in people and culture recognised with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognising the Best Places to Work in 2019
Now in its 11th year, the Employees’ Choice Awards programme is based solely on the input of employees who provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and company culture on Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites.
Civica, the market leader in business-critical software, digital solutions and managed services for the public sector and regulated markets, has risen eight places since 2018 to rank 25 out of 50 on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list. The company has a strong focus on employee support and development and Civica UK and International team members regularly post reviews describing their life at Civica on Glassdoor, contributing to this top accolade.
Julie Chell, Chief People Officer at Civica commented: “We work hard to ensure Civica is a great place to work. We’re delighted to have improved on our ranking on the Best Places to Work list throughout 2018, during which time we’ve continued to invest in our people and workplace culture across the globe, with flexibility, diversity and opportunity at the heart of everything we do.
“Thank you to all our employees who have given us their feedback this year. It’s invaluable to hear your comments and ideas as we continue to expand and maintain our market position and commitment to our exceptional global team.”
Dr Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist added: “To help people find the best jobs and the best companies, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards recognise employers at the top of their game. We know that a satisfied and engaged workforce helps drive financial performance. Glassdoor Best Places to Work winners are strategically investing in company culture, career growth opportunities and more.”
Both current and former employees of worldwide companies share insights and opinions on Glassdoor about their work environments, designed to capture a genuine inside look at what it’s like to work at a particular company: comparing key workplace factors such as career opportunities, compensation, benefits, work/life balance, senior management, as well as culture and values.
The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by employees between October 2017 and October 2018. To be considered, a company must have at least 1,000 or more employees and have received at least 30 ratings across eight workplace attributes from employees during the period of eligibility.
